An ideal edugate course has at least  minutes of video content. Each course lecture would consist of class modules of 20 minutes each. It is lecturer’s prerogative to split his course lecture in 4 to 10 modules. At times there would be powerpoint presentations, white board explanations or pure video lectures with examples, anecdotes, role play to convey their message and achieve the objective of learning to lowest common denominator.
No, becoming an instructor, creating, and hosting your course on edugate is completely FREE. All the hosting services, bank payment processes, processing charges, customer services and vendor management are responsibility of edugate.
edugate believes in life long learning, a portal where learning never ends. Hence, a student can access the course forever, till a course is retired or withdrawn by the instructor.
Yes, edugate have highest standards of learning and selects the pedigree instructors to deliver the courses. It reviews all courses to six sigma and other quality parameters that it appeals to a fast learner and moderate learner. Here are a few important standards to keep in mind: • Courses should contain at least 20 minutes ( this does not include quizzes, surprise tests to evaluate understanding) • Have at least 4 separate lectures • Include valuable educational content • HD Video Quality (720p or 1080p)
The instructor is at full discretion to price the course at any cost or fees starting from USD10 onwards. At times, instructor and edugate could run different promotional plans to discount the courses. However, a learner has access to the course for lifetime.
Yes! Instructors and edugate would run different promotions from time to time , depending on market dynamics and competitor activities.
The instructor is the master, author and publisher of the course lecture. All the content, IPR and its authenticity resides with the instructor. A course module includes: video lectures, power point presentations, class exercises, tests,quiz pop ups, simulation exercises, etc.
You learn at your own pace. This is a lifelong learning platform where there are no deadlines . You may pace your credits to finish the course in record time.
edugate courses can be accessed from several different electronic mobiles and web based browsers, including a desktop / laptop, Android app, iOS app, chrome / android browsers and Apple TV app. edugate courses are entirely on-demand, which means that you can enroll in the courses that interest you and learn at your own pace. You can begin the course whenever you like, and there are no deadlines to complete it. After you enroll in a course, you can access it by clicking on the course link you will receive in your confirmation email, provided you’re logged into your edugate account.
While edugate is not an accredited institution, we offer skills-based courses taught by experts in their field, and every approved course features a edugate certificate of completion. Certificates can be saved as a .pdf or .jpg file so that you can easily share your accomplishment.
